The December 15,1972 NBC Nightly News broadcast story about the City of Westwood, Kansas voting to return a $37,000 check back to the Federal Revenue Sharing program. Westwood's allocation of Federal Revenue Sharing funds was ultimately used to purchase the first Emergency Medical Service vehicle for Johnson County in November of 1974.
