Mission Road improvements from 47th St to 53rd St are currently under construction. The project, in partnership with the Cities of Roeland Park and Fairway, entails spot curb repair/replacement, sidewalk repair, asphalt base repairs, milling and overlay, street lighting, and potential marked bike lanes. The program is anticipating funding in part through Johnson County's County Assistance Road Project (CARS) grant, which supports street improvements throughout the county on arterial and collector streets.
