Beginning on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, WaterOne will replace its water main and services to homes on W. 50th Street from Belinder Avenue to Mission Road. This project is expected to last approximately 3 weeks. WaterOne will communicate details to affected residents as the project proceeds.
Kansas Gas Service is also planning to replace its main and services following the WaterOne Project with a finish date of August 1, 2026. More information on that project will follow in the coming weeks.
This work is in preparation for the long-awaited roadway project. Please contact John Sullivan at 913-432-1550 for more details on the street improvement. We will be sending out more information to the affected homeowners concerning temporary construction easements in the coming week. We are anticipating an August 3, 2026, start date.
